Tony Iommi Deified is the second chapter of the collaboration between Black Sabbath’s legendary guitarist and rock composer Tony Iommi and Xerjoff founder Sergio Momo.
Playing on the phenomenon of palindromes in sound, scent and sensorial sequences, Tony Iommi Deified plays in a loop with no beginning and no end, accompanying the wearer with its omnipresent aura.
The opening hit is dark and smoky, but it settles into something surprisingly wearable after an hour. I sprayed it before a long drive and kept catching whiffs of that leathery, incense-like depth—it lasts well past eight hours on my skin without turning cloying.
The collaboration with Sergio Momo really shows in the craftsmanship—this is a bold, complex rock-and-roll scent that evolves beautifully on skin over the hours. I keep catching new layers every time I wear it, and the longevity is impressive.
The opening spray hit me like a wall of incense and smoke—dark, theatrical, exactly what you’d hope from a collaboration with that riff legend. It’s got serious staying power on my jacket, still there the next morning after a full day out.
